How to Start a Video Visit With a Hurley Urgent Care Provider

Patients can video chat with a care provider while at home, work, or on the go. Our On-Demand Video Visits do not require an appointment. You can simply request a virtual visit online by clicking on the blue button below. If you encounter any issues, you may contact our Urgent Care staff at (810) 262-2710 for assistance.

Qualification

  • Patients 18 years and older
  • Patients 14-17 years old if the parent/guardian is present or provides a verbal consent to treatment
  • Patients 5-13 years old if the parent/guardian is present on the video visit and has a proxy on file
  • Patients must be Michigan residents

  • Cough, sore throat, COVID-19 or common cold/flu like symptoms
  • Eye infections (e.g. Pink Eye)
  • Painful urination (e.g. Urinary Tract Infections)
  • Diarrhea
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Minor skin conditions or rashes
  • Head lice
  • Abrasions
  • Back and neck pain

For emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency care location.

What to Expect During a Virtual Visit

If you have a Hurley patient portal (MyChart) account, you will login to your account to begin the On-Demand Video Visit process. If you do not have a MyChart account, we will create one for you prior to connecting you with our Urgent Care Provider. This will ensure that you get proper access to any notes or instructions from your visit. If you encounter any issues with this process, please contact our Urgent Care staff at (810) 262-2710.

Cost and Insurance Options

Most insurances cover virtual urgent care/telehealth visits. You can expect a copay based on your individual plan. Uninsured patients that receive Virtual Urgent Care services may choose to pay a flat, all-inclusive rate of $25.00 at the time services are rendered and forgo further patient billing or consideration for financial assistance. The $25.00 payment must be collected at the time of service to be considered all-inclusive. If you are UNINSURED and interested in taking advantage of this offer, please call our Customer Service Department at (810) 262-9255 before or after your virtual visit (same day) to make a payment over the phone.

After Visit Summary Access

You may access provider notes summary, test results, and other details about your virtual visit on our patient portal (MyChart) online.
