Samantha Kennedy DO
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Kennedy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Michigan State University, and a distinguished alumna of MSU’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Psychiatry residency and her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at MSU as well - go green! Dr. Kennedy is board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and supervises MSU Psychiatry residents and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry fellows. Dr. Kennedy’s clinical interest is in eating disorders, specifically those afflicting athletes. Dr. Kennedy has researched this topic in depth and has developed a screening tool, currently awaiting validation, to identify eating disorders in athletes. Outside of work, she enjoys competing in triathlons and loves spending time with her husband and their new baby girl.
