Endometriosis and Infertility
The following describes methods for treating endometriosis. For specific information regarding your health and treatment options, please contact your Hurley physician or medical professional.
Endometriosis is a condition in which the tissue lining the uterus (endometrium) grows in other areas of a woman’s body, causing significant pain, irregular bleeding, and possible infertility. The tissue growth typically occurs outside of the uterus on the ovaries, bowel, rectum, bladder, and the delicate lining of the pelvis. However, endometriosis can occur in other areas of the body, too.
