The Hurley Institute of Continuing Medical Education is fully accredited by the Michigan State Medical Society Committee on CME Accreditation to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  

Hurley holds a four-year Exemplary Compliance accreditation as a sponsor of continuing medical education for physicians. To attain this status, Hurley met additional criteria over and above the normal requirements.

Through the Institute of CME, Hurley Medical Center offers programs, seminars, outreach and joint sponsorship activities for its medical staff, allied health professionals, and physicians in the community.

The purpose of CME is to enhance the physician’s ability to care for patients and improve outcomes. It is our responsibility as an accredited provider of CME activities to ensure the activity is designed primarily for that purpose.
