Photos Tell The Story Of Hurley Men's Health Fest
June 18-Over 1,000 men from around Mid-Michigan attended Hurley’s 1st Annual Men’s Fest, a FREE comprehensive Men’s health and wellness event at Atwood Stadium in Flint. Participating in obstacle courses, agility tests and fitness challenges, participants spent a fun-filled and information-filled day learning about their health. Free health screenings, including blood sugar and cholesterol tests were also available, and several on-site health stations offered nutritional and cardio advice, senior and sports care, stroke prevention, and information on sleep apnea.
Mark Ingram: Keynote speaker urged men to taking care of their health, stressed the importance of healthy living
The keynote address was provided by Flint native Mark Ingram II, New Orleans Saints running back and 2009 Heisman Trophy Winner.

Ingram posed for pictures, signed autographs, and handed out free photos. Many of his hometown supporters were elated to get to spend time with him in his first appearance at Atwood since 2010.

Speaking from the heart, Ingram passionately urged men to take action about their health, stating that the topic was something he was passionate about because it relates so closely to the success of his professional football career.
