Hurley Ball Raises $165,000 for Hurley's Children’s Hospital

April 24-The Hurley "Carnival" came to town Sat. April 21st, turning the Riverfront Banquet Center in downtown Flint into a big top featuring fine dining, dancing, entertainment, and an “over the top” silent auction!

The elegant black tie gala with a “Carnival” theme was a huge success, with over 400 people attending. The annual extravaganza raised $165,000 to benefit Hurley Children’s Hospital, a hospital within a hospital which opened in November 2011.

"Carnival" theme

In keeping with the“Carnival” theme, the ballroom was transformed into a funland for kids and adults alike—complete with cotton candy, popcorn, special prizes and other exciting activities. This year’s silent auction included a wide variety of items on which to bid throughout the evening.
