"Hurley Baby" Contest: Week 4 Showcase Story
April 28-The final winner of the "Hurley Baby" Contest is Brandy Mingo from Burton, MI!
In Brandy Mingo's words:
"In 2007, my husband and I had our first child. She was born at another area hospital, and unfortunately they didn't have the equipment or skills needed to save her life. Since that time we have had two healthy boys, BOTH born at Hurley Medical Center. Our youngest was born just last week.
"I can't say enough good things about the staff at Hurley. Each time we were there we were treated with kindness and professionalism. Our doctor (Dr. Wiggins) is definitely a top gun. He told us over and over that our sons would be fine on his watch. He was right. To this day, I tell everyone I know to deliver their babies at Hurley. It really is the safest place for your newborn!"

We were looking for the best Hurley Baby Stories ever and boy did we find them!
Every Friday in April, we selected TWO WINNERS. Each weekly winner received a $50.00 Visa Gift Card!
THE FIRST WINNER-CHOSEN AT RANDOM:
Each Friday in April, we drew a winner at random from all entries received that week. This winner received a $50 Visa Gift Card.
THE SECOND WINNER-BEST STORY OF THE WEEK:
Also on each Friday in April, we drew a 2nd winner – the best story of the week. This winner was determined by the largest number of "LIKES" a story got during the week it was posted. The winning story was posted as a "Showcase Story" on the Hurley Medical Center website and the winner received a $50 Visa Gift Card. On April 30, 2012, we will hold a random drawing of the four "Showcase Story" winners for the Grand Prize: a $250 Visa Gift Card!
